Product description
This is a characteristic Table lamp in the Hollywood Regency style, defined by its striking horse figure and luxurious use of materials. The design combines a sculptural form with functional lighting, resulting in an object that is both a light source and a decorative statement.
The lamp is crafted from a combination of high-quality materials. The square base is made from a solid block of travertine, providing a stable and elegant foundation. The horse figure is intricately inlaid with mother-of-pearl, giving an iridescent sheen, and is finished with brass details on the head, tail, and hooves. A curved brass rod supports the fitting and the lampshade. The shade itself is made of a beige textile with a light texture, which diffuses a warm and soft light.
The overall condition of the lamp is well-preserved, with a character that suits its age and the natural materials used. The brass components have developed a light, authentic patina that contributes to the vintage appearance of the piece. The lamp is an example of the craftsmanship and glamorous aesthetic characteristic of the Hollywood Regency period.
This Table lamp is a refined addition to a dresser, side table, or desk. The piece fits perfectly within an eclectic, classic, or distinctly Hollywood Regency interior, where it adds a touch of elegance and conversational value.
