ABOUT THIS DESIGN
The HAY Uchiwa yellow Armchair, designed by the renowned design studio Doshi Levien for the Danish design brand HAY, is a generous lounge chair inspired by the organic shape of a traditional Japanese hand fan. The Armchair stands out with its spacious, open shell shape and the comfortable, tightly padded interior in a warm yellow color scheme.
The subtle contrast between the soft, upholstered fabric and the precisely formulated black wooden base gives the furniture a powerful, harmonious silhouette. With its deep, inviting seat and distinctive design, the HAY Uchiwa yellow Armchair forms a striking and expressive statement piece in any modern, Scandinavian or Japandi-inspired interior.
