ABOUT THIS DESIGN
The HAY AAL Sofa (About A Lounge Sofa) is a recognizable Scandinavian design sofa, designed by Hee Welling for the Danish brand HAY. This model stems from the well-known 'About A' collection and combines a minimalist design with high comfort. The HAY AAL Sofa is characterized by a compact, two-seater size with a continuous, organically shaped shell. This specific piece is upholstered in a fresh, light blue mottled fabric and stands on a solid wooden base with angled, oak legs.
The pre-formed shell of the sofa offers a secure and ergonomic seat thanks to its high backrest and flowing armrests. The loose, matching seat cushion provides extra comfort and is easy to clean or fluff up. Due to its compact dimensions and open, airy structure, this piece of furniture is ideally suited for smaller living spaces, an atmospheric bedroom, or as representative waiting area seating in a business reception hall.
