About this seller
Private sellerProduct description
A classic grand piano by the Berlin piano builder R. Görs & Kallmann. This instrument is an example of the brand's craftsmanship, known for its production of pianos and grand pianos since the late 19th century.
The cabinet of the grand piano is made of warm brown burr wood veneer, which creates a lively and deep grain in the wood. The instrument rests on three robustly turned legs, equipped with castors. A striking detail is the richly decorated, openwork music stand and the lyre-shaped pedal holder, which are characteristic of the style from that period.
The overall condition of the grand piano is consistent with its age and use, with an authentic patina that contributes to its historical character. The original ivory and ebony keys are present, emphasizing the instrument's authenticity.
This grand piano is not only a musical instrument but also an imposing piece of furniture that can form a focal point in a classic or eclectic interior. The instrument is a statement of historical elegance.
