About this seller
Private sellerProduct description
This is a substantial extendable dining table, crafted from solid wood and defined by its distressed finish. The piece is notable for its innovative flip-top extension mechanism, which allows the table to double in length, offering significant versatility for hosting and entertaining.
The table is constructed from solid wood with a factory-applied painted finish in a soft off-white or cream hue. This finish has been intentionally distressed to impart character and is sealed for durability. The design features a base that pulls out on either side, allowing the hinged top to unfold and expand the length from approximately 183 cm to an impressive 366 cm, providing ample space for a large number of guests.
The overall condition is good, with the distressed aesthetic forming an integral part of its rustic charm. The main tabletop surface shows a history of use that is consistent with its intended character, while the extension leaves, having seen less use, are in a well-preserved state.
With its generous proportions and adaptable nature, this table serves as an ideal centerpiece for a large dining room or an open-plan kitchen. It anchors a space with its robust presence and pairs well with rustic, farmhouse, or classic country interiors.
