Beautiful curved stoneware jug, covered with a matte glaze in speckled sand/beige tones, featuring subtle variations in colour due to kiln firing. The neck is highlighted with a flowing dark brown glaze, a highly sought-after effect in studio pottery. Ring handle, functional and well-proportioned. Unglazed base revealing the raw clay, typical of handmade craftsmanship. Piece without visible mark or signature, in the spirit of studio pottery from the 1960s-70s (France or West Germany / “West German pottery”). In very good condition.
