A striking vintage Swedish glass vase featuring an elongated cylindrical silhouette in a deep amethyst-purple colour, gradually darkening towards the rounded base. The slender, minimalist shape is complemented by a contrasting clear glass foot with a distinctive grid-like textured pattern, creating an interesting interplay of colour, transparency and texture.
Its sculptural proportions and rich colour give this piece a distinctly Scandinavian mid-century modern character. An elegant decorative object that works equally well with a single flower or displayed on its own.
The vase retains its original Swedish glassworks label, although the manufacturer's name is not fully legible.Good vintage condition.
