Product description
This is a vintage table lamp from the 1960s, made of glass and brass. The piece stands out for its sculptural and geometric design, reminiscent of both Art Deco and Postmodern styles.
The lamp is constructed from panels of opal white and deep black glass, set in a brass frame. The construction follows the stained-glass technique, giving each piece a unique, handmade character. The base is a rectangular column of white glass, from which an abstract, asymmetrical element rises to support the brass rod. The lampshade has the shape of a truncated pyramid and diffuses a warm, atmospheric light when the lamp is on.
The overall condition of the lamp is very good, with a character consistent with its age. The brass frame has developed a natural patina over the years, contributing to its authentic appearance. The glasswork is intact, and the original wiring with switch is functional.
With its distinctive silhouette, this lamp is an artistic object that serves as both lighting and decoration. It is a striking addition to a sideboard, desk, or side table and fits perfectly into an eclectic, Hollywood Regency, or design-oriented interior.
