Product description
This is a Mid-Century low board by the Dutch manufacturer Fristho, presented in a richly figured rosewood. The piece is defined by its clean, linear silhouette and a floating effect, achieved by its recessed plinth base, characteristic of high-quality Dutch design from the period.
Constructed from solid wood and rosewood veneer, this substantial cabinet measures 250 cm in width, 58 cm in depth, and 43 cm in height. The expansive top surface and generous interior storage, featuring both drawers and cabinet sections, make it highly functional. The design is finished with discreet, squared brass pulls that complement the warm tones of the wood grain.
Originally part of a larger modular wall system, this low board has been thoughtfully repurposed for standalone use. It retains its original character and finish, showing a history that adds to its vintage appeal. The combination of drawers and drop-down doors provides versatile storage options.
The low-profile and elongated form make this piece an ideal media console, TV stand, or credenza in a contemporary or Mid-Century modern living space. Its significant length allows it to anchor a large wall, providing both a functional surface and a strong horizontal design element.
