About this seller
Private sellerProduct description
Fragments is a handmade ceramic vase from an earlier period in my artistic development.
The vase was built up with different layers, structures and glazes. The rough surfaces and pronounced textures contrast with the dark base, while blue and earthy tones add subtle color accents.
The work originated from my earlier experiments with ceramics and material. It is therefore clearly different from my current, more raw and introspective visual language, but it does show my lasting interest in texture, imperfection and the tangible nature of materials.
Material: ceramic
Technique: hand-formed and glazed
Type: ceramic vase / sculptural object
Period: earlier work
Unique, handmade work
