About this seller
Private sellerProduct description
An authentic Soft Dream Large sofa, designed by Antonio Citterio for the Italian design brand Flexform. This design is known for its light, elegant appearance and exceptional comfort, combined with a generous and deep seat.
This piece is the Large version, with a width of 293 cm and an extra generous depth of 110 cm. This larger version offers significantly more seating space and gives the sofa its characteristic luxurious lounge feel.
The sofa is fully upholstered in Flexform Pelle De Luxe 623 dark brown, a high-quality full-grain leather with a natural and rich appearance. The frame is also covered in dark brown leather. The slender legs are made of burnished metal, ensuring the generous sofa remains visually light.
The sofa comes complete with five original Flexform decorative cushions, also made of Pelle De Luxe leather. These include three cushions measuring 52 × 48 cm and two cushions measuring 63 × 55 cm.
The original purchase documentation from Co van der Horst is available and confirms the exact version, dimensions, and materials used. Verkooporder_10_10167.pdf
The overall condition of the sofa is good. Through use, the natural leather has developed a characteristic patina, which, especially with this type of full-grain leather, contributes to the appearance and character of the furniture. The photos provide a good impression of the current condition.
A comparable Flexform Soft Dream Large measuring 293 × 110 cm in Pelle De Luxe leather currently represents a new price of approximately €17,000 to €19,000, depending on the exact configuration and accessories. Versions of the same size in fabric are currently around €14,000 to €15,000, while versions in Pelle De Luxe leather are significantly higher priced.
With its generous dimensions, high-quality materials, and timeless design, this Soft Dream Large is a particularly comfortable design sofa that fits perfectly in both modern and minimalist interiors.
