Product description
Hardwood from Africa: namely Iroko or also called Kambala. Rock-hard and very difficult to chisel. This is an expressive sculptural work depicting a female torso, expertly crafted from a single piece of wood. The artwork stands out for its abstract yet organic form, celebrating the natural beauty of both the human body and the material. The sculpture is hand-carved from a solid block of wood, with a warm, brown color and a clearly visible, lively grain structure. The front is smoothly polished, giving a soft sheen and accentuating the flowing lines, while the back is left hollow and rougher, adding an interesting contrast and rustic texture. A subtle detail is the finishing of one of the nipples with a golden touch, adding a hint of sophistication. The overall condition of the sculpture is excellent, retaining the original character of the wood. The natural variations in color and the existing cracks in the wood are inherent properties of the material and contribute to the unique and authentic appearance of the object. It is a work with a tangible, warm presence. This Sculpture is a powerful statement piece that would look beautiful on a sideboard, a console, or a pedestal. It fits seamlessly into various interior styles, from Organic Modern and Scandinavian to a more classic or eclectic decor, where it adds an artistic and natural element. The sculpture can be shipped by courier at an additional cost. Or picked up via Whoppah.
