HISTORY & DESIGN Armchairs S15 by Pierre Chapo, dated 1966. Solid elm frame and base, assembled with through tenons whose keys remain visible. The suspension is provided by cognac natural leather strapping, saddle-stitched and riveted to the frame. Two buttoned brown leather cushions are placed on top: the contrast between the two leathers and the light wood is the visual signature of the model. Low seat at 30 cm from the floor, contained footprint. A reading armchair, which stands alone in a corner or facing a low sofa.
