About this seller
Private sellerProduct description
This is a classic table lamp by the Dutch manufacturer Dijkstra, an iconic design from the 1970s. The lamp is known for its distinctive mushroom shape, a typical example of the Space Age aesthetic popular during that period.
The lamp is entirely in white, with a glossy finish that beautifully reflects the light. The construction consists of a metal base and stem with a plexiglass shade, providing a soft, diffuse light distribution. The perforated top of the shade is not only a stylish detail but also serves for ventilation. This model is a beautiful example of Dutch design from the mid-20th century.
The lamp is in good vintage condition, retaining its original shine and structure. It is a timeless piece that can serve as both functional lighting and a decorative object. This Dijkstra lamp fits perfectly on a sideboard, desk, or bedside table, adding a touch of retro charm to a modern or eclectic interior.
