This is a vintage wall hanging by the Dutch manufacturer Desso, made from a rich mix of wool and textile. The piece is a characteristic example of 1970s textile design, characterized by its bold use of color and sculptural texture. The design consists of a layered composition of high-pile and braided yarns in a vibrant palette of red, orange, purple, yellow, black, and cream. Measuring 90 by 140 centimeters, this wall hanging is a substantial work of art. The materials used, including Dralon fibers as stated on the original label, were popular during that period for their durability and colorfastness. The overall condition of the hanging is good, in line with its age. The colors are still vibrant, and the texture is largely intact, giving the piece an authentic vintage character.
