About this seller
Private sellerProduct description
An exclusive and rare hand-blown art object / champagne glass (Model No. 113b), designed by the renowned Italian architect and designer David Palterer (1949). This unique glass is handcrafted from high-quality potassium crystal in the famous glass studio Ajeto Bohemia in Nový Bor (Czech Republic), commissioned by the Amsterdam design label Alterego. Characteristic of this postmodern design are the asymmetrical, wavy top rim and the subtle blown-in dimples ("bubbles") in the bowl. Thanks to the solid, heavy glass base, the object is extremely stable. Since each piece is entirely handmade, this is a unique handcrafted item. Due to its generous size and sculptural design, this glass is not only beautiful for special occasions but also perfectly suited as a refined pick-flower or flower vase for a single striking bloom. Specifications: Designer: David Palterer (1949) Model: No. 113b Publisher: Alterego Glas Amsterdam Production: Ajeto Bohemia (Nový Bor) Material: Hand-blown potassium crystal Condition: In excellent vintage condition (no chips, cracks) A beautiful collector's item for lovers of unique glass sculptures and postmodern Italian design. Pick-up is preferred due to fragility. Shipping is possible at the buyer's risk and expense, of course very carefully and thickly packed in bubble wrap.
