This is a wall sculpture by Curtis Jeré, made of metal with a brass finish. The work, titled 'Brooklyn Bridge', is an iconic and highly sought-after design from the artist's Brutalist period.
The sculpture is handmade by welding and shaping metal rods and plates, resulting in a dynamic and three-dimensional representation of the famous bridge. The piece is signed and dated '© C.Jeré 1976', confirming its authenticity and production in the 1970s. The golden brass hue gives the work a warm and luxurious appearance.
The overall condition is good and in accordance with the age of the object. Over the years, the metal has developed a characteristic patina that contributes to the vintage charm and historical feel of the artwork. The structure is completely intact and ready to be hung.
This sculpture is a statement piece that adds architectural depth to a wall above a sideboard, sofa, or in an office space.
