Product description
Base material: hardwood from Africa, namely Iroko wood.
The Sculpture showed stains during chiseling. Therefore, I decided to paint this Sculpture afterwards. The design makes it unique.
This is a unique, hand-carved wooden Sculpture depicting a male torso. The work is distinguished by its expressive, abstract painting that gives the classic form a contemporary and dynamic look.
The Sculpture is made from a solid piece of wood, which is visible on the unfinished, hollowed-out back. The front is finished with a vibrant palette of acrylic or oil paint, combining dominant green hues with accents in blue, yellow, and red. The texture of the broad, energetic brushstrokes is clearly palpable and contributes to the powerful character of the artwork.
The overall condition of the Sculpture is excellent. The contrast between the smooth, colorful exterior and the rough, natural interior is an essential part of the design. This detail reveals the creation process and the organic origin of the material, giving the object an extra dimension of authenticity and character.
As a striking art object, this torso is ideal for placement on a dresser, a console, or a pedestal. It fits well within an eclectic, modern, or artistic interior where it can serve as a unique eye-catcher.
The Sculpture can be sent to you by courier for an additional charge or picked up by Whoppah services.
