Superb Native American Navajo Necklace - "Liquid Silver" Sterling Silver 3 Strands & Turquoise - Artisan's Mark "M"
Magnificent traditional necklace from Native American craftsmanship (most likely Navajo origin) made using the classic "Liquid Silver" technique.
It consists of three fluid strands formed by fine tubular silver beads, delicately punctuated by cylindrical beads of genuine turquoise. The three strands are elegantly gathered in conical end caps typical of Southwestern American silversmithing, finished with a traditional "S" hook clasp.
Style: Native American / Navajo, liquid silver technique (Liquid Silver).
Materials: Silver and turquoise beads.
Authenticity and Hallmarks: Master artisan's mark with the letter "M" clearly visible at the base of one of the cones.
Finishing details: The connecting rings near the clasp feature chiseled stamps, the cones representing a "rising sun" motif, a strong traditional symbol in Navajo culture.
Dimensions: Closed length 56 cm.
Very good vintage condition, with a beautiful natural patina on the silver.
