Healthy and authentic vintage kitchen utensil, perfect for slow cooking enthusiasts. This famous natural terracotta roasting pot is an original creation by the West German manufacturer Scheurich Keramik (registered model n°831). The domed lid is adorned with very graphic spiral friezes in bas-relief and bears the inscription "SCHLEMMERTOPF". The base features the official period stamp engraved in hollow, guaranteeing its authenticity. This traditional cooking method, consisting of soaking the terracotta in water before baking, allows meats, poultry, and vegetables to be cooked stewed in their own juices.
