Product description
A chair designed by the Danish designer Henning Kjaernulf, crafted from solid wood. This piece is an example of Kjaernulf's distinctive style, combining traditional craftsmanship with the organic forms of Danish modernism. The chair stands out with its embracing, curved backrest that seamlessly transitions into the armrests, a design that offers both comfort and a strong visual identity.
The frame is made of a light wood, probably pine, with a clear and lively grain structure that adds warmth and natural character. The seat is upholstered with a woven textile featuring a striped pattern in blue, orange, and black tones, creating a colorful contrast with the light wood. The construction is robust, with turned spindles in the backrest that emphasize the rustic yet refined aesthetic of Scandinavian design.
This chair is in excellent vintage condition, testifying to careful use over the years. The wooden frame is structurally sound and the original finish has been well preserved, accentuating the natural beauty of the material. The upholstery is also in good condition, with no visible wear, and retains its vibrant colors.
Thanks to its versatile design, this chair can function as a comfortable Dining chairs, a unique desk chair, or as a striking accent chair in a living room or bedroom. It fits effortlessly into interiors with a Scandinavian, rustic, or Mid-Century Modern decor.
