About this seller
Private sellerProduct description
This is a set of three Mona L pendant lamps by the Czech lighting manufacturer Brokis. The design, a collaboration between Lucie Koldova and Dan Yeffet, is celebrated for its innovative composition and striking visual form.
The Mona L, model PC938, features a generously sized spherical shade crafted from hand-blown transparent glass. A white tubular light source passes through the center of the sphere, suspended by distinctive tan leather straps that connect to a clean, white metal ceiling rose. This unconventional pairing of delicate glass with robust leather creates a compelling material contrast that defines the collection's aesthetic.
Overall, the set is in great condition, reflecting careful maintenance. The glass shades are clear and free from notable imperfections, and the internal components are pristine. The leather straps exhibit a natural character consistent with high-quality material, showing only minimal signs of use.
These pendant lamps are well-suited for creating a focal point above a dining table, kitchen island, or in a double-height living space. Their design complements modern, Scandinavian, and minimalist interiors, introducing both ambient light and a statement of contemporary craftsmanship. The set can be installed as a linear arrangement or a cascading cluster.
