About this seller
Private sellerProduct description
A characterful set of four vintage bistro chairs, manufactured by the renowned furniture makers Cambier and Luterma. These chairs are a classic example of early 20th-century European design, characterized by their elegant bentwood construction and timeless appearance.
The chairs are made of bent beech wood, a technique that provides both strength and a refined silhouette. Each chair has a round seat, some of which feature a decorative embossed pattern. The set consists of three chairs in a natural wood finish and one chair in a dark brown color, forming a unique and eclectic ensemble. The presence of the original 'Meubles Cambier' brand plates and 'Luterma' stamps confirms their authentic origin.
The overall condition of the chairs is good, with a rich patina that testifies to a long history and intensive use. The variations in color and the lived-in finish contribute to the unique character of each chair, allowing them to tell a story of bygone eras. The construction of the chairs is still solid and functional.
These bistro chairs are an attractive addition to a dining room, kitchen, or as accent chairs in a living space. They fit perfectly within a rustic, vintage, or industrial interior and add a touch of authentic, historical charm to any environment.
