About this seller
Private sellerProduct description
This is an Electa swivel lounge armchair, an authentic piece of Italian design from the manufacturer Calligaris. The chair is defined by its high, enveloping backrest and generous seat, creating a distinctive cocoon-like silhouette that offers both visual impact and comfort.
Crafted in Italy, the armchair is upholstered in genuine leather in a versatile mid-grey colour. The internal structure is composed of high-density polyurethane foam for lasting support. It rests on a solid, four-star cross-base made of polished steel, which facilitates a smooth 360-degree swivel action. The piece measures 89 cm in width, 78 cm in depth, and 89 cm in height, with a seat height of 45 cm.
The armchair remains in good structural and mechanical condition. The swivel mechanism operates seamlessly, and the internal foam retains its supportive quality. As a pre-owned leather item, it exhibits a character consistent with its history and use, while the integrity of the premium materials is preserved.
With its sculptural form, this Calligaris armchair is well-suited for a variety of interior styles, including contemporary, minimalist, or mid-century modern. It functions effectively as a statement piece in a living room, study, or reading corner.
