About this seller
ProfessionalProduct description
This is the Calgary shelving unit, a piece of modern furniture designed for versatile storage and display. Its defining feature is the central fold-out front, which transforms a section of the bookcase into a functional surface, ideal for use as a compact desk or a discreet bar cabinet.
Constructed with a slender metal frame and smooth MDF components, this unit embodies a minimalist aesthetic. The entire piece is finished in a sophisticated matte taupe, a neutral colour that integrates seamlessly into various palettes. The design features an asymmetrical arrangement of open shelves, providing ample space for books, decorative objects, and plants, while the central cabinet offers concealed storage.
The Calgary unit's condition is perfect, showing no signs of use and retaining its original, clean finish. The mechanism for the fold-down door is integrated smoothly into the design, maintaining the piece's sleek lines whether open or closed. This combination of open and closed storage makes it a highly practical and organised solution.
With its clean lines and functional adaptability, this shelving system is well-suited for a contemporary living room, dining area, or home office. It aligns with Scandinavian and minimalist interior styles, offering a stylish yet understated framework for personal effects and storage needs.
