Product description
This is the 'Dove' desk lamp, an iconic design by Italian designers Mario Barbaglia and Marco Colombo. The piece was originally produced by PAF Studio and later by Italiana Luce, and is known for its sculptural and functional elegance.
The lamp was manufactured in Italy and dates from 1984. The design is characterized by a slender, black metal arm that balances on a cylindrical base. An ingenious system of counterweights ensures that the arm can be smoothly placed in various positions, creating a dynamic silhouette reminiscent of a dove in flight.
This desk lamp is in very good condition, consistent with its age and careful use. The original finish has been well preserved, contributing to the authentic character of this postmodern design object.
With its minimalist yet expressive design, the Dove lamp is a refined addition to a desk, sideboard, or side table. It fits seamlessly into a modern, minimalist, or eclectic interior and provides focused, functional light.
