Product description
This is a classic tubular frame chair, based on the iconic S64 model by Marcel Breuer. It is a timeless design from the Bauhaus era, known for its elegant, floating construction and comfort, here executed with practical armrests. The chair features a white lacquered metal tubular frame that seamlessly transitions into a sled base, providing a slight spring while sitting. The seat and backrest are made of the recognizable Viennese caning (Wiener Geflecht), set in a white wooden frame. This combination of materials gives the chair a light and airy appearance. The chair is in good vintage condition and retains its authentic character. The frame and the caning are fully functional. Due to its versatile design, it fits perfectly at the dining table, as an office chair, or as a stylish standalone element in a living room or bedroom.
