Product description
This is a vintage paper scale by the Dutch manufacturer Büchel v.d. Korput. This precise instrument from around 1930 is a characteristic example of functional industrial design and was used to determine paper weight in grams per square meter.
The scale is made of metal and features a striking hammered finish in a mint green shade. The curved aluminum scale is clearly legible and indicates its origin from Baarn, Netherlands. The robust construction and mechanical functionality emphasize the industrial character of the object.
The object is in good, age-appropriate condition and retains its authentic vintage character. The original paintwork and mechanical parts have been preserved and show a patina that testifies to its history and use.
As a Decorative Object, this scale adds a touch of historical flair to a desk, shelf, or home office. It seamlessly integrates into industrial, vintage, or eclectic interior styles.
