Product description
This is a Braun ABW35 wall clock, a true icon of German functionalist design. Designed in 1982 by Dietrich Lubs, this clock perfectly embodies Braun's "less but better" philosophy, famous under the direction of Dieter Rams. Made in Germany, the clock features a transparent glass dial that creates a floating effect on the wall. The minimalist black and grey hands and numerical markers ensure impeccable readability, while the central mechanism and frame combine plastic and metal. Interestingly, this piece also bears the Ecotel logo, a collaboration, adding a unique detail for collectors. The piece is in impeccable, never-used condition, and comes with its original box and packaging. It is an exceptional find, especially in these conditions, representing an opportunity to own a piece of design history. Its timeless and minimalist aesthetic makes it the ideal complement for any modern, Mid-Century style or Bauhaus-inspired interior. It would look perfect in a study, kitchen or living room, bringing a touch of classic and discreet design. The box is a bit damaged.
