About this seller
Private sellerProduct description
wooden room screen, hand-painted decorations in a classic Asian style
The screen consists of three panels connected by metal hinges. One side shows a detailed scene with birds and flowers in gold, white, and orange tones. The reverse side is more subdued, showing golden bamboo branches against a red background, creating a calmer image. The high-gloss lacquer finish enhances the depth of the colors and subtly reflects the light.
The overall condition of the room screen is good, with a patina that testifies to its history and use. The original lacquer and the hand-painted motifs are largely preserved, contributing to the object's vintage appearance.
