Product description
This is a pair of versatile stools or side tables crafted in the distinctive Aviator style. Their design is directly inspired by the iconic engineering of mid-20th century aircraft, particularly the British Spitfire fighter plane. The pieces capture a spirit of industrial innovation and historical design, making them a strong focal point in any interior.
Constructed entirely from aluminium, each piece features a polished, reflective surface that highlights its form. The design is characterized by exposed rivets along the legs and apron, mimicking the panelled fuselage of vintage aeroplanes. This construction method is not merely decorative but speaks to the utilitarian origins of the style. The round tops provide a functional surface, while the three-legged structure ensures stability.
The overall condition of the pair is very good, presenting a clean and bright metallic finish. The polished aluminium has been well-maintained, retaining its lustre and showcasing the unique character of the material. The robust build quality ensures these pieces are as durable as they are stylish.
With their compact footprint and dual functionality, these pieces are highly adaptable. They can serve as unique side tables in a living room, as nightstands in a bedroom with an industrial or modern aesthetic, or as occasional stools for extra seating. Their metallic silver finish pairs well with both raw materials like wood and brick, as well as more refined contemporary furnishings.
