About this seller
ProfessionalProduct description
This is an authentic Tolomeo Floor light, produced by the Italian manufacturer Artemide and designed by Michele De Lucchi and Giancarlo Fassina. This specific model, the 'alogena dark light', is a refined version of the iconic design known for its balance between industrial aesthetics and functional elegance.
The lamp is made of high-quality aluminum and metal, with a characteristic system of articulated arms and springs that ensures smooth and precise positioning of the light. The shade is designed to direct light downwards directly while simultaneously diffusing subtle ambient lighting through the top opening. The construction is finished in a silver-grey color with a contrasting black base, and the piece is manufactured in Italy.
The overall condition of the lamp is very good, retaining its original finish and full functionality. The mechanical parts and the spring system work properly, allowing the lamp to maintain its versatile adjustability. It shows character consistent with a vintage design piece that has been carefully used.
Thanks to its timeless and functional design, this Tolomeo Floor light is an excellent addition as a reading lamp next to an armchair or sofa, or as task lighting in a home office. It seamlessly fits into modern, minimalist, and industrial interior styles.
