About this seller
Private sellerProduct description
An iconic Table lamp by the Italian manufacturer Artemide, designed by Angelo Mangiarotti. This is the Lesbo model, a renowned design from 1967 that embodies the essence of Space Age design with its organic, mushroom-like silhouette.
The lamp is made from a single piece of hand-blown Murano glass, which provides a diffuse and atmospheric light. The shade and base flow seamlessly into each other and rest on a polished aluminum base. With a height of 37 cm and a diameter of 52 cm, this is a substantial object. The lamp is equipped with a dimmer, allowing the light intensity to be adjusted as desired.
This piece is in excellent overall condition, retaining its original finish and structure. The white glass is intact, and the aluminum base shows a beautiful sheen, consistent with careful use over the years.
The Lesbo lamp is a sculptural object that makes a statement both on and off. It is a classic of Italian design that fits perfectly into a modern, minimalist, or eclectic interior, for example, on a sideboard, a low table, or a desk.
