Product description
This is a vintage wall-mounted coat rack, likely from the 1960s, executed in a distinct Art Deco style. The piece combines practical utility with a refined aesthetic, featuring both a hat shelf and a series of hooks within a singular, elegant frame. Constructed from metal with a warm, gold-toned brass finish, this coat rack showcases a strong geometric sensibility. Its design incorporates a tubular frame with rounded corners, supporting an open, lattice-work shelf for hats or accessories. Below the shelf, a horizontal bar holds five sliding hooks, offering flexible storage for coats and outerwear. The combination of linear forms and polished surfaces is characteristic of the period's design principles. The coat rack is presented in good vintage condition, consistent with its age and history. It retains its structural integrity and functionality. The brass surfaces exhibit a developing patina that imparts authentic character and attests to its originality, enhancing its vintage appeal without detracting from its overall appearance. As a functional and decorative element, this piece is well-suited for an entryway, hallway, or dressing area. Its classic design allows it to integrate seamlessly into interiors inspired by Art Deco, Hollywood Regency, or Mid-Century Modern aesthetics, adding a touch of timeless sophistication. Condition: good to very good; features localized patina, slight scuffs, and minor scratches—nothing significant, just normal signs of age. It has been refreshed while remaining in its original state. It presents a spectacular, atmospheric look. Dimensions: - height 10 cm - width 59 cm - depth 30 cm - weight 0.5 kg
