About this seller
Private sellerProduct description
This is an authentic Art Deco Vase by the English glass manufacturer Sowerby, made of striking green pressed glass. The geometric design and the vibrant, almost luminous color are characteristic of the period and make it a true collector's item. The Vase is made of pressed glass, a technique for which Sowerby was known in the 1930s. The bright, lime green hue is typical of uranium glass, which gives a unique glow under UV light. The design features a stepped, square base that transitions into a flared shape with horizontal ribs, a classic Art Deco motif. The Vase is in very good condition, consistent with its age, and has retained its original luster. It is a beautiful decorative piece that makes a statement with or without flowers. The Vase fits perfectly into a classic, eclectic, or modern interior where it adds a touch of vintage glamour.
