Product description
This is an antique sofa, crafted in the Biedermeier style from solid mahogany wood. The piece of furniture is characterized by its elegant, undulating silhouette and the rich combination of materials typical of 19th-century aesthetics. The frame is expertly made of dark lacquered mahogany wood, with refined carving on the armrests and legs. The sofa is upholstered in an olive-green velour fabric, which has a deep, warm color. The backrest features classic tufting, while the edges are finished with decorative, gold-colored nails that create a beautiful contrast with the dark fabric and wood. The front legs are equipped with original castors, which facilitates movement. The overall condition of the sofa is good, with a characteristic patina consistent with its age. The construction is solid and the upholstery is largely intact, contributing to the authentic appearance of the furniture. The woodwork retains its original luster and deep color. This Biedermeier sofa is a refined addition to a classic or eclectic interior. The piece of furniture functions excellently as an accent piece in a living room, a spacious hall, or a study, where it creates an atmosphere of historical elegance.
