About this seller
Private sellerProduct description
This is an antique English wooden counter, combining the functionality of a display cabinet with the storage space of a chest of drawers. The piece, probably from an old shop or pharmacy, has a characteristic design with a glass top and sides for displaying objects. Originally purchased from Axel Vervoordt.
The construction consists of a solid wooden frame with sixteen drawers, each fitted with brass-colored hardware. The warm wood tone and visible patina give the furniture an authentic look. This counter is versatile and can be used as a sideboard or storage unit. Three drawers are slightly chipped, one of which has been repaired. Drawer width is 42.5 cm.
