Product description
Antique vase in ceramic, from Central Europe. A hand-decorated piece of folk pottery from the early 20th century.
Ceramics painted with floral motifs were a common ornament in the rural homes of the region.
The ovoid body, on a ring foot, has a scalloped mouth and a hand-painted garland of blue, pink and yellow flowers with green leaves, with a row of dots under the neck and a border of small arches at the base.
The cream glaze shows fine crazing and small chips on the rim and foot, with the soft tone of used ceramic.
On a shelf or a sideboard, it brings colour to a sober interior, with or without flowers.
