Product description
An antique, extendable table from the 17th century, crafted in a style characteristic of Dutch Baroque. This piece of furniture is defined by its robust construction and the use of solid wood, giving it an imposing and authentic appearance.
The table is made of dark oak and stands on four heavy, turned baluster legs connected by an H-shaped stretcher. The design features a practical extension mechanism, where the leaves can be slid out from under the main top to create extra space. The deep, brown color of the wood accentuates the rich grain and the solid design of the furniture.
The overall condition of the table is good, with a lived-in character that suits its considerable age. The surface and construction show a rich patina developed through centuries of use, contributing to the historical charm and uniqueness of the piece.
This table functions excellently as a striking dining table in a classic or eclectic interior. It is a piece of furniture with a story that can form both a functional and decorative centerpiece in a dining room or eat-in kitchen.
