Product description
An Alessi wall clock with a minimalist design. It features a black circular face with white hands and a silver center. Light signs of use, including scratches on the clock face.
Striking Alessi ARRIS wall clock, designed by Australian designer Adam Cornish in 2017 for the Italian design house Alessi.
ARRIS is a beautifully minimalist exploration of time. Rather than using numbers or hour markers, Cornish created the clock from a simple circular steel disc with a single fold running vertically through its centre. This subtle ridge creates two slightly different planes, allowing light and shadow to move across the surface throughout the day.
The name “Arris” refers to the sharp edge created where two surfaces meet — precisely the architectural feature that defines the clock.
This is the black ACO05 B version, made from steel finished with black epoxy resin and contrasting slender metal hands. The minimalist Alessi logo appears discreetly on the lower part of the dial.
The metal hands had become slightly bent and have been carefully straightened again. They now move freely without touching each other.
