This is a modular sofa from the 1970s, upholstered in a characteristic corduroy fabric. The design is representative of the informal and comfortable living style of that decade, characterized by low, deep seats and a flexible arrangement. The sofa consists of 6 separate elements (4 parts in photo 1 and 2 parts in photo 2) that can be placed in various configurations, including a slight curve as shown. The upholstery is a corduroy fabric in a warm, dark beige to brown hue. The cushions feature tufting (capitonnage), which contributes to the volume and comfort. The construction is based on a wooden frame, typical for furniture from this period. The overall condition of the sofa is consistent with its age. A few small stains. Upholstery in very good condition. Thanks to its modular nature, this sofa easily adapts to different spaces, from a spacious living room to a more compact seating area. The piece adds an authentic retro element to an interior and combines well with both vintage and modern design pieces. 3 parts are straight and 3 parts have a curve. The straight elements are each 80w x 77h x 75d. The curved elements are 60 to 90 cm w x 77h x 75d. Seat height 40cm.
