About this seller
Private sellerProduct description
This is a set of six Elmer dining chairs, a well-known IKEA design from the late 90s. These chairs are a nice example of the postmodern design of that era, combining transparent materials with sleek metal frames. The design is both functional and a bit playful, typical of IKEA's design direction around the turn of the millennium.
Each chair has a one-piece transparent plastic seat and backrest, which provides a light and spacious look. The frame is made of chromed metal, creating a beautiful contrast with the transparent material. The chairs are stackable, making them practical for smaller spaces. The sticker on one of the chairs confirms they were produced in 1999.
The overall condition of the set is good, with the characteristic appearance you would expect from vintage IKEA items. They are sturdy and ready for a new round at the dining table. These chairs fit perfectly into an interior with retro or eclectic influences, but can also add an interesting accent to a modern, minimalist interior.
