Private sellerProduct description
This is a set of four decorative cast bronze appliques. Each piece features a dynamic scene with three cherubs intertwined among volutes and shell motifs, evoking the opulence of Baroque and Rococo styles.
Crafted from solid bronze, these ornaments showcase the quality of casting from their era. With an approximate height of 20 cm, they are substantially sized to be used as decorative elements on furniture, such as corner pieces for a chest, or as independent wall appliques. The gilded bronze finish exhibits a natural patina that has developed over time, adding depth and character to the intricate details.
The overall condition of the pieces is good, retaining their structural integrity and the detail of the original design. The patina is consistent with their age and use, which gives each applique an authentic and unique character. These elements have not been restored, presenting their historical finish.
This set of four figures offers an opportunity to add a touch of classic elegance to an interior. They are ideal for antique furniture restoration projects or for incorporation as architectural accents in a classic or eclectic style decor.
