Product description
This is a set of two Wassily chairs, model B3, designed by Marcel Breuer and produced by the Italian Fasem. This iconic design is a milestone in furniture history and a key figure of the Bauhaus movement, known for its revolutionary use of steel tubes. The frame of each chair is made of chromed steel tubes, creating a striking and industrial silhouette. The seat, backrest, and armrests are made of thick, black leather straps that span the frame. As the stamps indicate, these chairs were produced by Fasem in Italy in 1989, confirming their vintage authenticity. The overall condition of the chairs is good, in line with their age and use. The leather has developed a characteristic patina, and the frames are structurally solid, retaining their original finish. This set represents a piece of design history that is both functional and sculptural. These chairs make a statement in any room and fit seamlessly into modern, minimalist, and industrial interiors. They function excellently as Armchairs in a living room, as accent chairs in an office, or as a refined addition to a seating area.
