Patijn
Patijn is known for his minimalist, functional approach to design, which focuses on the quality of materials, durability and the user experience. His designs are often characterized by elegant simplicity and attention to detail. Over the years, Patijn has collaborated with many renowned brands, including Ahrend, Arco, Functionals, Montis, Van Esch and Vlisco. His work has been featured in design exhibitions around the world, including Salone del Mobile in Milan, Dutch Design Week in Eindhoven and Design Miami/Basel. In 2015, Patijn received the prestigious Dutch Design Award in the Product Design category for his office chair for Ahrend. Since 2018, he has also been teaching industrial design at the Willem de Kooning Academy in Rotterdam.
