Offredi
Offredi began his career in the 1950s working for architect and designer Gio Ponti. He went on to work for several major Italian companies, including Saporiti, Knoll International and Cassina. Over the course of his career, Offredi designed a wide range of products, from furniture and lighting fixtures to household appliances and office equipment. He was known for his functional approach to design, seeking to create products that were both practical and aesthetically pleasing. His most famous creations include the "Sella" chair for Saporiti, the "Modulo" sofa for Knoll International and the "Mega" storage system for Cassina. Offredi received numerous awards throughout his career, including the prestigious Compasso d'Oro in 1979 for his work on the "Mega" storage system. His creations are still highly sought-after by collectors and design enthusiasts the world over.
