A remarkable and coherent collection of original Belgian cyclocross medals, awarded during the famous "Cross du Soir" races organized by the newspaper Le Soir.
This collection, spanning more than two decades, reflects the rich tradition of Belgian winter cycling and the golden age of sporting culture in the interwar period, which continued in the immediate postwar years.
Each medal depicts an elegant, Art Nouveau-inspired female figure holding a victory wreath, a symbol of honor and athletic achievement. The reverse bears the inscriptions and dates of the race, framed by oak leaves—a classic symbol of endurance and triumph.
