A beautiful and extremely rare mannequin bust by the renowned French manufacturer Novita from the 1930s (Art Deco period). This authentic plaster display figure was used as a shop display at the time and features the iconic, hand-painted blue 'Harley Sport' inscription on the chest. The figure displays a characteristic male face with highly detailed features and the typical vintage look of that era. The original 'NOVITA' mark is etched into the plaster on the side of the black base, guaranteeing the authenticity of this collector's item. Novita is known in fashion history for its high-quality displays (made for Christian Dior, among others). An absolute eye-catcher for an industrial interior, clothing store, barbershop, or for the serious collector of vintage advertising and retail paraphernalia.
