Vintage Rajasthan hand-painted bridal chest/bridal treasure chest/travel chest made of metal with a secret compartment in one side.
Unique!
Great color combination, lovely bohemian vibe:
~with metal handles on the side & top,
~with a small mirror and a metal tray under the mirror in the lid,
~with a secret compartment on the front with an extra metal pocket,
~closes securely,
~officially a chest for a dowry, subsequently symbolic and decorative in the home, also used for travel,
~(if you like it) includes a set of Rajasthan (wood with traditional fabric) figures of a man & a woman on red cord; traditionally, the wooden man is given to the woman when she travels (and vice versa), to maintain the connection (visually) during the journey as well; upon returning home, they are tied together again. Nice decorative vintage (antique?) mood setter, nice next to the sofa to put blankets in, nice in the children's room for toys, etc...
