Beautiful pair of Knoll Antimott armchairs in one very good condition. The two armchairs have an attractive mustard color which still looks very modern today. The cushions offer a very comfortable seating experience and are in no way saggy. The armrests of the armchairs have a light patina and minor scratches, but hardly noticeable. The suspension is flawless and the wooden frames are stable. Price for the pair.
The Wilhelm Knoll family company was founded in 1865 and quickly became known for its high-quality leather furniture. From 1925 Walter Knoll was an important representative of the avant-garde and concentrated on the production of Bauhaus furniture. The Knoll Antimott product line was developed in the 1920s and the Antimott armchairs were installed in the first zeppelins.
